Several presentations of the EC Protocol took place in Cali, at the occasion of COP16. The presentations focused on:

  • The needs the EC Protocol would fill,
  • The guiding principles of the EC Protocol governance,
  • A first mapping of questions the Protocol would answer and of already existing sources of information, and
  • Getting first impressions on the Protocol’s initiative and objectives!

October 24th – Evening Reception co-hosted with the Wildlife Conservation Society – “Delivering improvements to ecosystem integrity and condition through nature positive development and private sector engagement”

Time: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Co-hosted by WCS and the Ecosystem Condition Protocol interim secretariat, the event provided an overview of initiatives, tools, and metrics, fostering collaboration to align scientific measures with private sector strategies and connecting to the NPI’s work around a minimum viable set of metrics for nature.
