Ecosystem Condition Protocol
The Ecosystem Condition Protocol (EC Protocol) aims to provide comprehensive guidance on measuring and accounting for ecosystem condition. It is currently under preparation and work under the Protocol will start later in 2024-2025.
The EC Protocol shall provide essential guidelines to corporates to easily report against key disclosure frameworks, such as the TNFD core disclosure metrics, the GRI 101 biodiversity standard, or the European standard ESRS E-4.
It shall enable companies to better understand their impacts, encourage positive impacts and reduce negative impacts on biodiversity.
